The centerpiece is a vintage glass button with a delicate floral design, placed in a handmade prong setting. Framing are two unique pieces of handblown glass in black with a sparkling, iridescent dichroic surface. These curved glass tubes have had thornlike decoration pulled from the surface while hot, giving the piece its name. Finishing the composition are black tourmaline slices with raw edges and highly-polished faces.
